Dinosaur Valley
On of our perfect weekends was in Glen Rose, Texas. We started the day with going to Big rock creek, there is big, huge rocks all over that the kids and adults can climb all over and a little creek and river you can get wet in. Down the road a little bit is Dinosaur Valley this is at the Glen Rose state park there is camping and fishing and wonderful hiking trails to do also. They have two big life size dinosaurs up when you first pull into the park, you can get out and look at them up close and take your picture with them. Through out the park there is also dinsoaur tracks that have remained intact because of the river. The tracks are in the water but you can see them, you can even get in the water and touch them if you want. This one one of the nicest times that my family has had. It was great for the kids as well as the parents.
